I Have Crabs and So Do You

This blog post is gonna be real deep today, and I mean reallly deep, and that’s because what I’m about to talk to you in this video means a lot to me.

This will probably be the only time where you’ll get to see the emotional side of me.

I hope you enjoy this video, and it gives you a few ‘ah ha’ moments.

Also, if you did experience an ‘ah ha’ moment I would love to hear about it in the comment section below. It would also be great if you could click the ‘Like’ or ‘Tweet’ button, share it on your Facebook or do what ever motivates you. I’d really appreciate it.

Enjoy.

Hi Grant, I think that we are all wounded by attacks from Crabs. This is well worth posting and for people to view. Crabs are bottom feeders and as such are beneath us. With heads held high we excel and bring people up with us.

    Amanda,

You’re not worthless at all. By building the confidence to comment on this I believe you’re strong. Age is just a number.

All you need to right now is focus on ONE thing. A great start would going for a walk for 20 minutes every second day. That’s it!

Ignore the people that say you can’t do things. They have no idea what they’re talking about.

    Stay strong.

    Grant

So so so true! I have had Crabs in the past (Not the Sat night kind) :) and am sad to say I have been an unconscious Crab to others in the past. I am fortunate now that I surround myself with amazing friends and family (and trainer) who give me never ending support and encouragement and I try my best to always look at the positive side and not let my bad moods (yes they do still happen) bring others down. Each person is responsible for their own success, health and happiness and those who try to discredit, sabotage or bring you down in any way are only jelous of who you are! Amanda Bell No one ever has the right to tell anyone they are never good enough! I am not a religious person as such but God doesn’t make mistakes……it does not matter if you are 5, 21 or 85, if you are the most georgeous supermodel or your average Joe (No offence to any Joe’s) or if you weigh 45KG’s or 145KGs you are beautiful and special and have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. The most important thing is to realise that all these “Crabs” are people that are not warranted in your life and only hold you back from achieving greatness no matter what form that may come in for you. Ditch the Crabs and move on to some “ANTS” that all work together as a team in the best interest of everyone involved to strive towards a higher goal. That’s what Cardio Haters and Grant Lofthouse do.

Hi Grant I just watched your video and I know just what you are talking about because I have always been told I am never good enough and that I will never amount to nothing and at 53 I am still being told this by my family and I I have been told this so much I believe them , my friends have told me I have a good heart and that I am a giver but I feel worthless and so I have become sick and due to that I have also put on weight and now I am just waiting for my time to come when I die and I know that sounds sad but I have very little left in my life and that makes me sad but I wish you every success in your life you are a good guy d&d have told me that.Keep up the good work and all the best for this year…..

Loved the speech…Definitely have more than my fair share of crabs.. mine are mostly family members…love going to the gym and working hard..it should be a positive thing but surprisingly it bothers people….you stay true to yourself and your dream and enjoy the ride..if your goal is really to help others you will amass great fortune…happy new year and kudos to your Mum and Dad for raising a boy with goals and gumption…..

Dude. Great blog post this was super deep shiet!

Thanks for sharing your story about getting the gym and your family member. It’s crazy how someone you call a friend can direct your attention away from your goals just by doing something small and simple.

    thanks again.

Grant thank you for this your video has really touched me.

Yes you’re right I do have crabs, I never really realised I did until I watch the video.

I have a friend who doesn’t support me what so ever with my weight loss goals. She also tries to get me to go shopping, and brings home fast food.

And I just can’t seem to say no because I feel I’ll hurt her feelings.

I’m going to knock her back next time she wants me to go out with her when I want to go to the gym.

But what can I do if she brings home fast food and has bought some for me. Like I said I don’t want to hurt her feelings and waste her money.

    Thank you :)

    Sam

      Hi Sammy you’re welcome.

Here’s what you can do. Eat before she gets home and just say “oh thanks but I’ve already eaten”.

Then say “you can just pop it in the fridge and you can have it later”.
