Anyways…

I thought  I would take the time and show you in this blog post the most current, up-to-date supplements that I recommend to stripping body fat and improving health and performance.

I’ve tried most supplements on the market and I won’t lie… most of them are absolute bull shit – pumped with cheap artificial crap that does more harm than good.

Since I’m a huge fan of keeping things simple, I will continue the trade in the supplement field as well.

Here’s my list of the top 5 supplements that’ll do the trick…

1.) Protein powder – Benefits include…

  • Helps avoid muscle loss.
  • Keeps you fuller for longer, thus the prefect soultion for a calorie restricted diet.
  • Has a thermic effect (burns calories during digestion). Although I think think the thermic effect is very overrated. It’s still a positive.
  • You simply don’t get fat from protein.

Since protein powder in under large demand these days. Most companies take shortcuts and get their protein from sick cows pumped up on drugs. And for that reason there are only 2 that I recommend…

2.) Super greens – To be frank, if you’re not taking this you‘re missing out. Although it doesn’t taste the best (you do get used to it), it is by far the most important supplement out there. Some benefits include…

 Unfortunately due to today’s food not being very rich in vitamins and minerals, super greens help you keep those levels topped up.

3.) Fishoils – Not going to point out the benefits because you probably already know them. But here’s something you may not know… By taking 9 fishoil caps a day you burn an extra 400 calories/day.

It’s not that hard to do… simply take 3 everytime you eat.

Get your fishoils from where ever – chemist (drug store for my USA fans), super  market or health store.

Don’t go the cheapest, because most take short cuts and produce low quality products.

Also, if you want to step it up a notch you can take krill oil instead. They are more powerful.

4.) Pre and Post Workout Energy/Recovery –This is another kind of protein powder that you can take before and after your training.

What separates this from the other protein powder that I recommend is that this contains carbs which will give you the energy before training and recover the muscles after training.

5.) Multivitamin – Last we have just a good ol’ multi. To tell you the truth… If you are taking adequate doses of super greens, there is really no need to take a multi.

But with that being said it’s always good to be safe than sorry because if you get sick, you can’t train.
