Lately I have been getting a lot of questions about breakfast. Should or shouldn’t I eat it?

Well today I’m going to reveal to you my importance on breakfast and whether it will help you lose weight. I warn you my answer is not typical…

Should or shouldn’t I eat breakfast? I very common question I get.

If you’re the kind of person that skips breakfast, for whatever reason. Yet 2,3 or 4 hours down the track you will literally eat anything because you are craving food… then maybe you should eat breakfast.

On the other hand if you can skip breakfast and fight off the cravings and you’re able to make a healthy decision… then yer maybe you should skip breakfast.

See I don’t get when people and science say you have to eat breakfast no matter what, yet for some people when they eat breakfast they feel sick to the point that it affects their performance throughout the day and may even not be able to train.

So why would you force 400 calories (or how ever many) down your throat, when in the end you cannot train because you are feeling sick which results in a skipped training session.

The big picture for fat loss and weight loss is to burn more calories then what you consume.

So you consume those 400 calories but you’re so sick that you cannot train (to burn off calories). It doesn’t really add up.

Like I said it comes down to you! Forget about science.

Now we got to think about training. Do you train in the morning or at night? Obviously if you train at night then this wont really effect performance. But if you train in the morning and you eat breakfast but you feel sick to the point that it affects your training performance… then maybe you should skip breakfast. On the other hand if you skip breakfast and then feel faint whilst training, then maybe eating breakfast is the option for you.

So what do you do if you’re in the middle like me?

I’m a little bit weird. I can’t eat breakfast because is effects my performance, yet come 2,  3 or 4 hours down the track I am so hungry that I will literally eat anything to satisfy my cravings.

So what do I do?

I have a shake. Because it’s a liquid I’m able to consume it without feeling sick and it also keeps me satisfied and fights off any cravings until my next feeding.

As I said it comes down to you, forget about science and what other people are doing.
