Yesterday I was browsing through my Facebook and came across a page that was so true it made me laugh because I hear and see this stuff ALL the time. The page was “Sorry, a diet coke with your meal wont help you lose weight.” I instantly clicked the ‘like’ button and then couldnt but help make a blog post about this and add a few of my own.

You and I see these kind of people all the time, in fact you may even know them or even call them friends (I can deffinately think of a few). You know the ones that think they know everything, make every excuse in the book, wont take any advice yet they still look the same week in week out because they do one small thing and expect to be thin over night.

If you do any of the below, dont take it personally. Have a laugh and think of it as contructive criticism.

1.) Sorry, but walking your dog at a nice slow, easy pace 3 times a week wont help you get into shape.

2.) Sorry, but a coffee with no milk but 3 teaspoons of sugar wont help you lose fat.

3.) Sorry, but eating oats with half the bowl filled with honey wont help you lose body fat.

4.) Sorry, but a pizza with no cheese wont help you lose weight.

5.) Sorry, but eating 99% fat free ice creame wont help you lose weight.

6.) Sorry, but taking the stairs to work and considering that your exercise for the day wont help you lose fat.

7.) Sorry, but doing bicep curls wont help you lose body fat.

9.) Sorry, but training for 2 weeks and then having a 4 week break wont help you lose weight.

10.) Sorry, but just joining the gym and not going wont help you lose fat.

11.) Sorry, but reading a book whilst you are on an exercise bike wont help you lose fat.

12.) Sorry, but using the ‘I have no time’ excuse wont help you get into shape.

13.) Sorry, but only training once or twice a week wont help you lose weight.

14.) Sorry, but doing 50 reps with a 3 kg dumbbell wont help you burn fat.

15.) Sorry, but having a protein shake with 25g of sugar because the other ones taste yuk wont help you lose body fat.

16.) Sorry, but 1200 calorie diet consisting of pizza, burgers, chips and soda wont help you burn fat.

17.) Sorry, but drinking powerade because you ‘need your electrolytes’ wont help you get into shape.

18.) Sorry, but drinking powerade because you think ’atheltes drink it and they are healthy’ wont help you lose weight.

19.) Sorry, but eating or drinking something just because its has a ’99% fat free’, ‘light’ or ’diet’ label slapped on it wont help you lose fat.

20.) Sorry, but doing one set and then talking to your friends for 5 minutes wont help you lose body fat.

21.) Sorry, but blaming everone else wont help you get into shape.

22.) Sorry, but training really hard and then eating whatever as long as its in your calorie budget wont help you lose weight.

23.) Sorry, but always looking for the ‘quick fix’ found on T.V (Zumba, Fat Zap, Lemon Detox Diet) wont help you lose fat permanently.

27.) Sorry, but eating junk throughout the week and then having a cheat day as well because I said cheat meals/days are a good idea wont help you get into shape.

28.) Sorry, but drinking ‘low carb’ beer wont help you lose body fat.

29.) Sorry, but eating dark chocolate wont help you get into shape.

30.) Sorry, but gettin ‘blind as a bat’ wont help you lose stomach fat.

31.) Sorry, but having sore knees wont help you lose fat. (I can vouch for this one. I have dislocated and reconstructed both my knees and I’m still in shape).

32.) Sorry, but asking for advice and then not putting any of it to work because they told you stuff you dont wont to hear wont help you lose body fat.

33.) Sorry, but waiting for the perfect time (tomorrow, next month, when its not rainining) wont help you lose weight.

34.) Sorry, but just being so damn lazy wont help you get the body you want.
